Merrick Garland: More Than 500 Editorials from 49 States & D.C. Urge Senate Hearings

Washington, DC (Wednesday, April 13, 2016)–  More than 500 Editorials by newspaper Editorial Boards in 49 states and D.C. have urged the Senate to hold hearings on President Obama's nomination of D.C. Circuit Chief Judge Merrick B. Garland to fill a Supreme Court vacancy.

The following is a statement from Glenn Sugameli, a Defenders of Wildlife Senior Attorney who founded the nonpartisan Judging the Environment program on federal judicial nominations in 2001:
